From Tragedy to Hope

Jawad Khan, a brilliant 14-year-old student from Rustam, Mardan, was on his way to school when he was hit by a speeding vehicle. After five days on a ventilator at Hayatabad Medical Complex, he was declared brain dead.

In their moment of profound grief, his father Noor Dad Khan and uncle Farhad Khan made the courageous decision to donate his organs. This act of ultimate compassion saved five lives and created medical history in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
